The Antonini Milano is one of the Italian companies that most successfully brings together a luxury product like jewellery with contemporary art. Over the years the jewellery boutique has presented exhibitions by artists from various generations, from Carla Accardi to Sabrina Mezzaqui, Letizia Cariello to Shafei Xia, in a unique context, that of a frescoed showroom inside Palazzo Borromeo. Bonotto is one of the rare examples of a company with a symbiotic relationship between art and working life: in the corporate vision, art should interact and directly influence the productive system. Fondazione Bonotto – created by Luigi Bonotto and with spaces inside the company’s production sites – holds one of the world’s most important collections of Fluxus, visual and concrete poetry.

Casa Mutina Milano, the new Mutina showroom in the Brera district, is regularly transformed with different collections of ceramic tiles, and hosts exhibitions chosen to interact with the displays of products. The first was a solo show on Luigi Ghirri titled Between the Lines. The founder of Mutina, Massimo Orsini, has included many works by Ghirri in his collection.
Mutina’s commitment to art goes beyond the corporate spaces with projects such as Dialogue, collaborations with galleries and institutions, and This is Not a Prize, an annual award assigned to an international artist.
COIL - Gruppo Cristella
COIL is a company specialized in the supply of fuel and the transport of animal feed, based in Fiorenzuola d’Arda, province of Piacenza, helmed by the 30-year-old collector Michele Cristella. The business is traditional, but the constantly expanding corporate collection focuses on experimentation, mostly with works by young artists.

Gruppo ALA
ALA for Art is the new project created by Gruppo ALA with the aim of supporting culture and contemporary creativity, bringing value to the artistic languages and identity of the territory. The first item in the contemporary art collection on view in the Neapolitan headquarters is a work by Mariangela Levita. The artist has won the first ALA for Art Prize, selected from about 100 Campania-based artists by a special jury composed of Lorenzo Benedetti, Eugenio Viola and Alessia Volpe.

One of the most intense works in the collection of GIT is a photograph of the performance Limpieza Social by Regina José Galindo, a provocative image of forceful political an social significance, made even more eloquent by its placement in the boardroom utilized for high-level meetings, often prevalently attended by men. The entire headquarters is punctuated by the works of masters like Michele Zaza, and of young emerging talents like Élle de Bernardini or famous artists like Martin Creed and Jonathan Monk. Each year, the group finances a contemporary art publication; the latest is the catalogue of Irene Fenara.

The Prologis Park in Lodi, with its area of 300,000 sqm, has been transformed into an outdoor urban art gallery thanks to the contributions of some of the most outstanding Italian street artists, including ETNIK, FONT, SEA CREATIVE, among others. The idea, part of the PARKlife project, stems from the fascination of the country manager of Prologis, Sandro Innocenti, with the mural Tuttomondo made by Keith Haring in Pisa. This initiative is just one of many which the company has inserted and will insert in other logistics parks, for the overall wellbeing of employees and clients, in a context that would usually be extraneous to artistic expressions.

The exhibition space which the agency Sanpaolo Invest has created in its headquarters at Treviglio has hosted shows by various young talents over the years: the floating works by Davide Mancini Zanchi, the installation by Antonio Fiorentino that invaded the space with sand, the conceptual works of Roberto Fassone. Daring experimental works, unusual for a banking facility in the provinces, and thus extraordinary. The agency has also welcomed the exhibition of the finalists of the Città di Treviglio award, involving the local community and putting it into contact with contemporary art.

Since 2018 Spazio Leonardo has hosted three contemporary art exhibitions each year, which take over the collective spaces of the agency, interacting with everyday working life. Solo shows mostly by emerging artists, such as Andreia Santana and Filippo Minelli, alternate with group exhibitions of painting and collaborations, including the interaction with the association A Collection. The philosophy of Spazio Leonardo is to create a gathering place through culture, in the hope that this example will also be followed by other large corporations located in the Porta Nuova district.

Mauro De Iorio is one of the leading Italian collectors, and has brought his exceptional passion for contemporary art into his company’s diagnostic centres. Art is scattered through the medical facilities, and also expands into two dedicated exhibition areas inside the headquarters in Trento and the new structure in Verona. Zazà Ramen, given the background of its owner Brendan Becht, couldn’t help but have strong ties to contemporary art. Every six months a different exhibition is prepared for the spaces of the restaurant, and young Italian artists like Thomas Berra and Marco Andrea Magni have left their mark in the room where the Dutch artist Jacqueline Peeters also had a show, her first in Milano. For Becht the restaurant should not simply be a place where people gather to eat; it should first of all be a place of sharing, in which to feel good, enjoying excellent ramen while enjoying works of art.
