10 Italian cities, 10 Jaguar Land Rover dealerships, 10 contemporary art galleries, 10 Academies of Fine Arts, and 10 artists are the protagonists of JaguArt. The Italian Talent Road Show, the project launched by Artissima and Jaguar in 2019 and based on a shared desire to support emerging art and to trigger positive long-term synergies.
The project calls for each city to host two events: the first, at the dealership, is fundamental to determine the winner of each stop, while the second, at the host gallery in that city, holds a presentation of the research of the selected artist (discover all the stops here).
The voyage began with the selection of 10 artists: Matteo Pizzolante – winner of the first appointment in Milano, Luca Arboccò – Torino, Francesco Tagliavia – Catania, Camilla Gurgone – Roma, Boris Contarin – Venezia, Stefano Giuri – Firenze, Marco-Augusto Basso – Genova, Teresa Gargiulo – Napoli, Camilla Riscassi – Bologna, and Federica Francesconi – Brescia.
Voting began in 2020 for the occasion of Artissima Unplugged at the GAM in Torino , at the Chalet de l’Ange a Courmayeur, and continued during the group shows of the 10 finalists in Jaguar Land Rover dealerships in Roma, Genova, Napoli, Bologna and Brescia. The process is completed at Artissima during the days of the fair and the absolute winner is:Luca Arboccò.
A special perspective on the two exhibitions is narrated in this video: a guided tour led by Ilaria Bonacossa (Director of Artissima) to let you discover more about the artists and their works.
